To use this service, you must send your ECU to our ECU Tuning Pro LLC facility for unlocking.

Please make sure to verify your ECU’s eligibility by performing a bench identification before sending it for remote unlock.

Once the unlock process is completed, we will return your ECU fully ready for reading/writing via bench and OBD operations.

Good news: A dealer software update does not affect the remote unlock. 👍

The total shipping cost — calculated at checkout — includes pickup at your location, shipping to our facility, and insured return delivery.

This service applies to a single ECU.
If your vehicle contains two ECUs, you must purchase the service separately for each unit.

The ECU will always be restored to its original factory state.
If it was previously tuned, the modified file will be permanently lost.

Remote Unlock is compatible with AutoTuner Tool and AutoTuner One (personal OBD-II flasher).
Compatibility with third-party tools cannot be guaranteed.

⏱️ How long does it take?

The ECU is usually processed the same day.
Depending on logistics conditions, it may even be returned on the same day it is received.
This timeframe does not include pickup, transportation, or any possible delays from the courier company.

🔧 How does it work?

1. Perform a vehicle identification to confirm the ECU reference. A message will confirm whether the ECU is compatible, already unlocked, or eligible for remote unlock.
2. Remove the ECU and check its physical condition (pins, housing, etc.).
3. Purchase the “Remote Unlock” service from ECU Tuning Pro LLC.
4. Carefully package the ECU, print the DHL shipping label you receive by email after purchase, and send the unit.
5. Once you receive the ECU back, reinstall it in the vehicle. Reading and writing will now be possible using your AutoTuner tool.

🔒 Is the unlock linked to a specific tool?

No.
The unlock is not tied to any specific AutoTuner tool serial number.

However, we only guarantee compatibility with official AutoTuner tools.

📦 What happens if the package is lost?

We work exclusively with DHL, our trusted logistics partner since the beginning of ECU Tuning Pro LLC operations.
